Run North West is delighted to present the return of the highly popular Wilmslow festive 10k road race on a completely traffic free, point-to-point course. Starting in the town centre of Wilmslow and finishing on the outskirts of town, at the same location as the popular Waters Wilmslow Half Marathon. Predominately flat, the course delivers fast times for club and fun runners alike.<\/span><\/p>\n

The scenic route heads out of Wilmslow along Knutsford Road before looping back round to Burleyhurst Lane and finishing on Mobberly Road.<\/p>\n

Following our successful inaugural events in 2016, Run North West continues to offer you the chance to run new and varied courses, whilst answering the demand for more choice in quality, value for money races, offering the very best possible on the day experience.<\/p>\n

All finishers will receive our much cherished bespoke medal. Water and a flapjack will be also provided, plus an optional foil\u00a0blanket. New for 2019 and due to numerous\u00a0requests, we have added the option of a\u00a0finisher t shirt for \u00a36. <\/span><\/p>\n

Prizes will be awarded to the top five male and female runners, with additional prizes in all age group categories. <\/span><\/p>\n

The official race charity is The Christie, an internationally recognised centre for the treatment of cancer.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As soon as you enter, you can collect your race number from our Wilmslow retail store or collect it on race day morning from race HQ, Wilmslow Leisure Centre. <\/span><\/p>\n

W<\/span>e will have a number of free to use car parks available in Wilmslow and instructions on parking will be included with the on the day instructions. As the start and finish are one mile apart, courtesy buses will run for participants not wishing to jog or walk back ton the start area.<\/p>\n
